FAQ

What is Virgin Hair?

100% virgin hair is hair that has not been chemically treated. There are no permanent/semi-permanent colors, perms, or relaxes used to alter the color, texture or curl pattern of the hair. To prevent tangling, all the hairs are placed with the cuticles in the same direction. This can also be called cuticle hair.

All hair comes in natural black and brown tones. The hair can be colored with professional permanent, semi-permanent and cellophane coloring products. Naturally wavy hair comes 8″-28″; all in two inch increments (8”, 10″, 12″, 14″ – 32″, etc.)

The hair comes in bulk, Machined weft or hand-tied. Bulk hair is used for braiding and fusion. Machine wefts and hand-tied wefts are used for weaving. Hand-tied wefts lay much flatter and are more undetectable than machine wefts.

Before hair is distributed to customers, it is inspected, shampooed and deep conditioned. We insure quality hair is delivered with every order. Maintenance Instructions for Straight/ Wavy & Signature Curly Hair

Shampooing & Rinse
you can wash your virgin Remy hair as often as you would like. We recommend you to wash the hair at least once a week. The cleaner the hair is, the more beautiful it becomes. When shampooing your hair, use a mild shampoo and warm water. We recommend Bio Silk Shampoo (for Rough and Dry hair). Lather the shampoo in between your hands and start from tip to root. Wash the hair in a downward motion and in a gentle stream, rinse the shampoo out.

Co Wash
This is another great way to maintain your extensions. Conditioner has enough cleanser to clean and leave your hair feeling very soft and movable. Many shampoos contains alcohol
which eventually dries your scalp taking away the moisture you need to help your hair extension look vibrant, as a result i strongly recommend a co wash.

Conditioning
It is very important the hair stays hydrated and moisturized to upkeep its shine, luminosity, and durability. Use a Moisturizing conditioner (such as Bio silk) with the hair to ensure the hair will receive deep conditioning which helps keep it silky soft.
